Would you like to experience a miracle? “If you want to experience a miracle you must first experience a problem.” These words rang in my ear for days after spoken by my life group teacher. Probably because I have a problem and long for a miracle. What problem are you experiencing? Do you long for a miraculous act from God?
There’s something interesting about miracles…
Jesus often required people to act before he miraculously moved. Before Jesus turned water to wine, He commanded the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” (John 2:7). What if they had not obeyed?
When Jesus miraculously fed the 5,000 with five loaves and two fish, “he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people.” (Mark 6:41) What if the disciples had not obeyed?
Before Jesus miraculously healed a man with a shriveled hand in the synagogue, He required he, “Stretch out your hand.” (Matthew 12:13) What if he had held his hand close and refused to stretch it out? He may have missed out on God’s miracle. But the man did stretch out his hand, “and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other.”
If we want to experience a miracle, we must stretch out our problem to God. We must obey what God asks us to do. Is there anything God is asked you to do? I am fully confident He is instructing me to act. Let’s take a step in faith together and take action!
Peter could never walk on water without getting out of the boat!

Thank you for your obedience to share.
This immediately came to mind as I read your post.
Exodus 14:16 commands Moses to “Raise your staff and stretch out you hand…” Sometimes it takes our act of faith to move forward. Could it be that we are waiting on God to make a move but He is waiting on us to stretch out our staff and lift up our hands to move forward into His Promises?
We are reading that book now If You Want To Walk on Water You Have To Get Out of The Boat.
Thanks for always sharing your heart so humbly and completely.
Thank you…
