Waiting My Whole Life For This!
Hand in hand, I led both Naomi and Titus into the hospital lobby. Naomi stopped me immediately inside the door as if she couldn’t take another step without proclaiming what was on her heart. Glancing up at me with her gorgeous blue eyes and thick curly hair, she had something important to tell me. I leaned down to give her my full attention and the words she spoke have lingered in my heart for the last 6 months.

I love how God provided Mary with someone to encourage her. Immediately following the angel’s announcement of the virgin birth he then announced another bit of news. “And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:36 – 37
How Will This Be?
Mary’s faith is proven remarkable by the words she spoke after the angel announced she would give virgin birth to Christ. “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” (Luke 1:34) Matthew Henry’s Commentary considers she was not questioning CAN it happen but she was questioning how it WOULD happen.
